Building upon world-leading research of TU Delft and BASF on magnetocaloric materials, Magneto develops tailor-made Mn-Fe-P-Si compounds to satisfy customer requests. Magnetocaloric materials are individually optimized to reach the required performance, temperature range and mechanical stability.

The plot and table show isothermal magnetic entropy changes for a field change of 0-1 T (open symbols) and 0-2 T (filled symbols) for typical MnxFe1.95-xP1-ySiy compounds (x = 0.66 – 1.34 and y = 0.34 – 0.46). The data of Gd metal are included.
